Mike Paul-Smith is a versatile and experienced wedding and cocktail pianist, with a huge repertoire of piano music for drinks receptions, wedding ceremonies and dinner entertainment. 

As well as being a musical director (and founder of Mike Paul-Smith Music), Mike has performed at well over 1000 wedding ceremonies – working with clients to select personal choices for the arrival music, processional and recessional music and the signing of the register. Mike is also able to play organ for church services.

Mike’s piano playing is also the perfect choice for drinks receptions or dinner entertainment. 

Mike’s repertoire includes classical music from Elgar, Debussy and Rachmaninoff; jazz standards such as My Romance and When I Fall In Love; songs from musicals and films; and modern pop songs. 

Depending on your song choices, Mike can be joined by other musicians such as a cellist, a trumpeter or a singer. 

Mike can perform on an acoustic piano (or church organ) if there is one at your venue, or he can perform on a top-quality digital piano. We can also put you in touch with hire companies who can provide an upright or a grand piano, or for an additional charge we can provide a “grand piano shell” which wraps around the digital piano, making it look like an acoustic instrument.
