There’s no doubt about it – Down for the Count are a world class band that deserve to be recognised in every major music venue both in the UK and abroad. We feel so proud that they were part of our special day and would not hesitate to recommend them to all of our friends.

Speaking as professional musicians, my husband and I (as well as all of our musical guests) were astounded by the stylistic versatility and musical virtuosity of their performance at our wedding reception.
Their high octane stage presence and glittering presentation alone would have made for a dazzling performance – which left no option but to get up and dance! – but the immense talent and skill of each and every musician was amplified by the whole, creating a spine-tingling show with unique renditions of well loved numbers that were both impeccably rehearsed and perfectly executed.

Having planned our wedding in just two months I particularly valued the exceptional customer service of Mike Paul-Smith whose response times were swifter and more detailed than any supplier I have ever liaised with. His generosity with time and care for each and every client meant that he worked tirelessly to shape a performance that was both immensely personal to us as well as being within our budget.
Finally, I am incredibly grateful for Down for the Count’s understanding and professionalism on our wedding night, delivering a show-stopping performance with 100% commitment and enthusiasm despite the fact that we were running considerably behind schedule.
