I would absolutely recommend The Get Downs. They really knew how to get the dance floor going and selected songs that kept us on the dance floor all night long too. Professional and friendly and easy to work with before and during the event.

We welcomed The Get Downs on board the Tattershall Castle for the London Christmas Show after party and they were absolutely fantastic! Very professional and entertaining, I will definitely recommend them to all my colleagues and future corporate bookings.

Hi Mike, just a quick email to thank you for adding so much to our special day. Without exception, or any prompting, everyone that we have spoken to since the wedding day has commented on how much they enjoyed the band. We thought the dance floor might be a little quieter during your first set as we thought that it would be mainly our friends from Lindy Hop that would be dancing. We booked The Get Downs for one of our high profile corporate clients, Lindt Chocolate, and they were fantastic. Arrived on time to set up, and worked brilliantly with the venue and AV companies to ensure everything was set and ready to go on time. Mike and the rest of the band were very helpful and went above and beyond. Then there was the performance, they were fantastic, great vocals and top quality musicians provided the perfect backdrop over dinner. I would highly recommend these guys for any corporate or private functions 10/10.

You wouldn't guess from my comments that I'm rarely pleased - this event was a personal one, but I book 3 or 4 acts a week in my day job. Your band gets 10/10. Professional, flexible, friendly, skilled and very low-maintenance. Mike is a true band-leader; Katie has a lovely voice. The boys in the back are real professionals. The booking process made the booking very easy.

Everything went really well on New Year's Eve at Le Manoir aux Quat' Saisons, and The Jazz Essentials were perfect.
