All four of your team were wonderful, a delight to work with with and true professionals in the face of not a small amount of issues! We faced a lot of rain, power loss, a long carry to load and unload and a frustratingly ever-changing schedule. But they handled everything fantastically.
Big thanks to James and Alex for making the day a lot smoother for us, it was an incredibly busy couple of days for us event management team and having a reliable, professional band really helped - one less ting to worry about!.
They were also excellent musicians, sounding brilliant at all times even when we lost power and they had to go a capella for a few minutes.
So big thank you to all of you, we’d love to work with you again on another event and won’t hesitate to put you forward to future clients!

Simon and the rest of the band were absolutely fantastic and we have received seriously high praise from everyone who attended (both old friends of the band and new!). Our first dance was magical and the Jazz duo did a terrific job throughout the afternoon. Callum was obviously his exuberant self and insisted that Amy and I did a number or two…we failed to resist the invitation…
Thank you so much for all the organising, and helping to put on a superb performance (which was never in doubt).

My wife and I wanted to leave a review for Mike and the band. What an incredible performance. From start to finish, they had the guests on the dancefloor the entire time. They ticked every box and more. Every guest (and venue staff) loved them and would not stop talking about them. Best decision we made.
You have left us with the best memories on our special day.

I wanted to get in touch with you and the band after your amazing performance at mine and Bhups’ wedding on Sunday!
Firstly, all of the organisation and communication in the months beforehand left us feeling that we could rely on you in the lead up to the big day! That you were also there ahead of time and came to say ‘Hi' to us left us so reassured that the everything was running smoothly on the day.
We loved the “Cantina band” performance - it was exactly the little tongue in cheek nod the “May the fourth” that we wanted. (It’s also been Bhups’ ring tone for about ten years - so he was delighted)
The performance itself was amazing - the blend of jazz standards with a jazz-take on modern songs was exactly what we’d envisioned. We had read the many glowing reviews of the band and knew to expect a great show - but we still so happy to have our expectations exceeded! We had so many of the guests tell us just how much they enjoyed the band’s show and that it was a real highlight of the day.
We really can’t thank you and the band enough for being such a wonderful part of our day. Your professionalism, prompt replies to emails, and friendliness to us on the day really took out some of the stress of organising a wedding!

You guys kept the dance floor full all night and so many guests told us how amazing you were. You sounded amazing, looked incredible and were engaging all night.
Your mix was punchy and clear, for such a difficult room acoustic. The perfect volume level.
Thank you again for being so accommodating with our requests and for loading in and out like ninjas.
I know it was a tricky gig without the use of amplification however we could hear them well at the tables and we are so glad we booked The Vintage Strollers, it created a lovely atmosphere. They also looked fabulous!

Thank you so much for making our wedding reception fabulous, and for being such a fantastic and responsive supplier. Once we had decided on the date for our wedding at Folkington Manor, the first thing we booked, even before the caterer and marquee, was The Get Downs! The Jazz Trio were perfect for the drinks reception on the lawn and have got great reviews from the guests. You all made the evening a fantastic success and the 8-piece version of The Get Downs was perfect.
Also, thank you so much for letting me get on stage for a number at such short notice! We are delighted that you were able to play for us. Please pass our grateful thanks onto the whole band.

Thank you to you and the band for last Saturday! We knew as soon as we had booked you that music wise we were in safe hands! The trio were perfect for the drinks reception and the evening band fabulous as always!
Absolutely fabulous musicians, professional company and a pleasure to work with. We hired the Vintage Strollers and Get Downs for our wedding. They were fantastic! All our guests were raving about the music during the day. 5 star recommendation!
