Hi Mike, We just arrived back from honeymoon yesterday and I would like to say that the band were sensational. I don't think there was one point in the evening when the dance floor was not full of people, young and old. The mix of music was wonderful and the band themselves performed flawlessly. Please, please pass on our warmest thanks to the band and thank you so much for persuading me to have the full 9-piece line-up - it made the evening.

The band were superb, they went down really well with our client and were fantastic every night. They were prompt, professional and very talented, should they fit the brief we wouldn’t hesitate to book them again and again. I hope we can work together again soon. Kind Regards.

Dear Mike, we are just back from honeymoon and settling back into normal life again. I want to thank you for an absolutely wonderful performance at our wedding reception. Everything from booking the band, deciding on song choices, and arrangements on the day was very efficient and we felt in safe hands throughout. On the day you and the band were extremely professional and far exceeded our expectations. The music was absolutely wonderful, and the mix of songs was just right! I have to say I danced to every single song and we had many compliments on the music from our guests. Thank you again, we had an absolutely amazing evening, and that was in large part down to you!

We hired The Get Downs for our wedding. They were absolutely sublime. The jazz trio played for the drinks reception and the full swing orchestra helped us dance the night away with a cracking repertoire of differing styles and genres. Our guests loved them and so did we. I loved them so much I hired them for my work winter party for Christmas 2015 and have hired them again this year! Cannot wait. If you're looking for a band for your event, hire these people. They're amazing.

Hi Mike, I hope that you are well and got back to London ok after our wedding on the 4th. I really wanted to have a great party - with everyone up and dancing and you all made that happen. Dear Mike and all The Get Downs players I wanted to thank you all for making our wedding day so very very very special – we had the most incredibly amazing day and the music was just phenomenal. You’ve probably forgotten which wedding we were, it was the one in Windsor Great Park at Cumberland Lodge on 31 August 2013. You absolutely bought the house (or rather, marquee) down – I cannot tell you how many of the guests have commented on how amazing you guys were! I’m so sorry it’s taken me this long to write to you; we didn’t get back from our honeymoon until the end of November, and then Christmas seemed to completely take over but, in the spirit of better late than never, thank you thank you thank you – you were truly wonderful. The moment you played the opening chords of ‘All You Need Is Love’ is my favourite memory of the day, along with all the dancing! James and I often talk about the day and reminisce about the music and dancing. I really cannot thank you enough. If there’s any sort of official review you would like us to do, please let us know. You were truly excellent and we rave about you to everyone who says they need a band. Thank you again – It sounds horribly mushy, but it true; you added a lot of magic to a very magical day. Dear Mike, I just wanted to email to say a huge thank you for your help at our wedding. The music was perfect and so many people danced who I didn't expect too (you even had my parents dancing which is the first time this has happened for about 35 years....). It was the perfect way to celebrate the wedding and so thank you!
