Mike Paul-Smith were quite simply amazing. They were the talk of our guests who all loved the band and their range of music, we both couldn't have been happier with how everything went with Mike and his team. They were flexible with our requests, even provided vocals and keyboard during our drinks reception and managed to provide us with all options and solutions to suit our budget.
Mike Paul-Smith Music were always accommodating and nothing was ever a problem. A big part of our day that went off so smoothly. Truly magical.
Mike and the band were absolutely fantastic. During the set up on the day they were punctual and professional, and they were totally accommodating to our wacky requests (processional music down a field). The music was exceptional - they're experts at reading the 'mood' of the room and got everyone up on their feet dancing. So many of the guests came up to us afterwards to tell us how good they were. I couldn't recommend the band more highly.
We thought The Get Downs did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed.
They got the our guests really excited and dancing like crazy, and pleased a crowd of 7 year olds to 93 year olds.
Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us!
Without a doubt, we would recommend Mike Paul-Smith Music to any other friends getting married.

A quick email to say thank you so much to you and the rest of the band for Saturday. We are so pleased we chose you to play at our wedding - you were absolutely brilliant.
I love the fact we managed to sneak in a dance together before the rest of the guests made it to the dancefloor. That was a lovely a really memorable moment for us.
Thank you so much for dealing so admirably with our wedding overrunning. We are sad not to have had 2 full hours of The Get Downs, but we were delighted with we did have.
Dear Mike, the band were absolutely fantastic! We had so many people say how good you were. The setting up was really smooth and the whole evening went really well logistically. I really loved the set lists, and the sound was brilliant.

Before the day, Mike was great at allaying our concerns about the noise monitor and in communicating leading up to the day. On the day, we were running a bit late, but Mike and the team were great in working around the situation. Their performance was amazing and had all of our guests dancing - even those who hadn't danced since their own wedding many years before.
The event went very well thank you. The guests all thoroughly enjoyed themselves and Alexander's Ragtime Band did a fine job of creating atmosphere - thank you.
Spectacular performance from a wonderful band, flexible with our song requests and were able to play our first dance from a song not originally on their song list! One of the best decisions we made was to hire them! The led singer was sensational, the band were great, professional and fun! They got everyone up and dancing, and we couldn’t have asked for more!

Sorry for the vast delay in getting back to you. As you might imagine the weekend was a very enjoyable roller coaster, and then we were away a few days and are only just getting back to reality.
The band were great, everyone really enjoyed the sets and I really enjoyed meeting all the members of the group. They were fantastic musicians and really helped to make it a memorable evening.
Thanks again for being so accommodating in the run up to the wedding.

The sun came out and Alexander's Ragtime Band went down very well indeed. The background type music suited the lazy summer afternoon event and was exactly what we wanted. Many guests mentioned how accomplished the musicians were and I wouldn’t be surprised if we get asked for a referral in the future – in which case I’ll forward them on!

Mike Paul-Smith Music went over and above what I would have expected. They arrived early at the venue and stayed later than was expected to ensure we had music for longer. Their music was second to none and all my guests thoroughly enjoyed the breadth of music they played (which varied from light background music during the wedding meal to a lively band in the evening, with a perfect rendition of Dream a Little Dream for my first dance). They really did make my wedding day memorable and special, my wedding day wouldn’t have been the same without the band there.
